The range of products available for women of colour who contribute a sizable proportion of sales towards these major brands however, remain to be limited and lag behind despite these growing demands. The business was founded by Ms. Shanique Ellington, a Jamaican young entrepreneur with a background in Pharmaceutical Science and a Masters Degree in Business Management. She is just like you, as a customer living in a society, and experiencing the gap in the local beauty industry, she needed empowerment and so birthed the brand as it is today out of her innate desire to cater to everyone's needs.
